Bosque los Guacamayos brings everyday life closer to the living landscape of Costa Rica.
A one-kilometer trail moves through the community and into a sequence of forest experiences — beneath the canopy, among almond trees and palms, and upward through El Dosel, where elevated walkways and platforms create a different perspective on the forest.
It is a place for movement, but also for noticing.
Birdsong overhead. Shade changing through the day. A pause above the forest floor. The possibility of seeing a scarlet macaw where it belongs: within the landscape that gives this world its name.
The forest is not scenery here.
It is part of the experience.
