GUACAMAYOS FOREST: A CLOSER WAY TO EXPERIENCE THE FOREST
A forest can be something you look at from a window.
Guacamayos Forest is intended to be something you enter.
Within Sueños del Mar, it creates the community’s most immersive relationship with tropical landscape through two connected experiences: a one-kilometer ground-level trail and El Dosel, an elevated sequence of walkways and four distinct forest platforms.
ONE KILOMETER THROUGH THE LANDSCAPE
The Guacamayos Trail creates space for walking, light exercise, birdwatching and quiet exploration around the community.
Its value is not that every walk needs a destination. The same route can feel different depending on light, rain, season and the movement of wildlife through the surrounding trees.

El Dosel adds a second perspective through elevated walkways and four platforms.
EL NIDO — WELLNESS PAVILION
A quiet place for yoga, meditation, stretching and personal restoration.
EL OBSERVATORIO — WILDLIFE PAVILION
A setting for looking outward and noticing birds, movement, changing light and the smaller details of the forest.

A place for conversation and small shared moments framed by vegetation.

A simple place to stop, sit and stay for a while.
A FOREST WITHOUT A SCRIPT
The strongest nature experiences often resist over-programming. Guacamayos Forest should not feel like an attraction with a checklist.
Its purpose is quieter: make it easier for residents to spend time among trees, move slowly enough to notice changes and let landscape become part of an ordinary day.

WHY GUACAMAYOS?
Scarlet macaws are one of the Central Pacific’s most recognizable birds. Their movement through the regional landscape helped inspire the name of the forest world.
This is a regional connection. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, and the biodiversity of the Central Pacific extends far beyond any single property.
